These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Tu Currículo platform (the "Platform"), operated by Social Team S.A.S., a Colombian company (NIT 901.614.134-2), domiciled in Bogotá D.C., Colombia ("Tu Currículo", "we"). By registering or using the Platform you confirm you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
User: a person who creates an account and uses the Platform. User Content: the resume data you enter (text, photos, links). Plans: the Free, Pro and Premium service tiers.
Tu Currículo lets you create, edit, publish and download resumes in interactive web, PDF and ATS formats, in Spanish, English and Portuguese. Plan features are described on the pricing page and may change over time. The Platform is a tool; we do not guarantee employment outcomes (interviews, hires or offers).
The Platform uses third-party artificial intelligence (AI) tools to help you write, improve, translate or reorganize your resume content. AI-generated content is an automated suggestion that may contain errors, inaccuracies or inexact statements; you are therefore responsible for reviewing, correcting and validating it before publishing or using it. AI plays an assistive role and does not, on its own, make decisions with legal effects on you. By using these features you authorize your input to be processed by our AI providers for the sole purpose of providing the service; data processing details are described in the Privacy Policy.
You must be of legal age (18) or have your legal representative's authorization. You agree to provide truthful information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
You keep ownership of your User Content. You grant us a limited, worldwide, revocable license to store, process, reproduce and display it solely to provide the service (e.g., publishing your resume at a public URL when you choose). You declare the content is truthful, your own or authorized, and does not infringe third-party rights.
Prices are shown in Colombian pesos (COP) and include applicable taxes where relevant. Paid Plans may be recurring (subscription) or one-time. We will issue an electronic invoice per Colombian tax rules (DIAN). Payments are processed by third-party gateways whose terms also apply.
Custom domain (Premium plan): the Premium plan includes connecting one (1) custom domain whose registration or annual renewal cost does not exceed seventy thousand Colombian pesos ($70,000 COP). Domains priced above that amount, as well as premium, auction or special-category domains, are not included; the User may acquire them by covering the full cost or the difference.
Subscription Plans renew automatically at the end of each period (monthly or annual, as you choose) by charging your registered payment method, until you cancel. You may cancel renewal at any time from your account or via support; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid. We will give you reasonable advance notice of any change to your subscription price; if you disagree, you may cancel before the new price takes effect. The minimum commitment stated in the cancellation clause applies.
We may offer a referral or affiliate program granting benefits (discounts, credits or commissions) for inviting new users who register and, where applicable, purchase a paid Plan. Benefits, amounts and conditions are stated on the Platform and may be changed or ended at any time. Self-referrals, fake accounts, spam or any fraudulent practice are prohibited; we may void benefits and suspend the account for breaches. Cash benefits are subject to applicable withholdings and taxes.
Under Article 47 of Law 1480 of 2011 (Consumer Statute), where applicable, a consumer User in Colombia may exercise the right of withdrawal within five (5) business days of entering the contract, except for digital services whose performance started with express consent before that period. You may also request a payment reversal under Article 51. To exercise these rights, contact us via the platform's support channels (soon, a dedicated email at tucurriculo.com).
You may cancel anytime; paid access continues until the end of the billed period and does not renew. Except for withdrawal or legal warranties, payments for consumed periods are non-refundable.
Minimum commitment and non-payment: paid plans have a minimum commitment of six (6) months. If a monthly debit cannot be processed, the User's resume will be taken down (it will stop being published and accessible) until the payment is brought up to date. If non-payment continues without interruption for three (3) months, the profile may be permanently suspended or deleted.
When your account ends — by your choice or for breach — your access to the Platform and paid features stops. Except where legally required to keep it, we will delete or anonymize your User Content per the Privacy Policy. We recommend downloading your resume (PDF or the available formats) before cancelling, as once deleted it may not be recoverable.
You may not publish false or third-party information without authorization, impersonate others, upload illegal or offensive content, breach the Platform's security, or use it for spam. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.
The Platform, the Tu Currículo brand, logo, design, templates and code belong to Social Team S.A.S. or its licensors and are protected by IP laws. You gain no rights over them beyond using the service.
We make reasonable efforts to keep the Platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, giving notice of material changes. Some features may be offered as a beta or trial version, with no stability guarantees and subject to change.
We are not liable for failures or delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as internet or hosting-provider outages, cyberattacks, power cuts, natural disasters, acts of authority, pandemics or civil unrest (force majeure). While the event lasts, the affected obligations are suspended.
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, and without affecting statutory consumer warranties, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or data loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be limited by law.
You will hold Social Team S.A.S., its partners, directors and staff harmless from claims, damages, penalties or costs (including attorneys' fees) arising from: (i) the User Content you enter or publish; (ii) the infringement of third-party rights or the law; or (iii) breach of these Terms. This is without prejudice to your mandatory consumer rights.
Processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, in line with Colombia's Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013, and applicable law in other Latin American countries.
Under Law 527 of 1999, you acknowledge the validity of expressions of will made electronically within the Platform (acceptance of terms, plan purchases and authorizations).
We will contact you via your registered email, in-Platform messages or WhatsApp for operational matters (account, payments, security, legal changes). These operational communications are part of the service and are not advertising. Marketing communications will be sent only with your consent, and you may opt out at any time. Notices are deemed received on the day they are sent to your registered email.
You may not assign or transfer your account or your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms, in whole or in part, to an affiliate or as part of a reorganization, merger or sale of the business, notifying you where this materially affects the service.
We will handle your petitions, complaints and claims (PQR) via the stated support channels. Before going to court, the parties will seek to resolve any dispute in good faith through direct settlement and, if agreed, conciliation before an authorized center, within thirty (30) days of the request. This does not limit your right to turn to consumer-protection or data-protection authorities.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Colombia. Disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of Bogotá D.C., without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the User's country of residence.
If you use the Platform from another country, you keep the mandatory consumer and data-protection rights of your jurisdiction — notably Mexico (LFPDPPP; consumer law), Argentina (Law 25.326; Law 24.240), Chile (Law 19.628; 19.496), Peru (Law 29733; Consumer Code) and Brazil (Law 13.709 — LGPD; Consumer Defense Code).
If any provision of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the rest remain fully in force, and that provision will be interpreted as close as the law allows to its intended purpose. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and each Plan's conditions, constitute the entire agreement between you and Social Team S.A.S. regarding use of the Platform.
We may update these Terms. We'll publish the current version with its date; material changes will be communicated through the Platform or by email. Continued use means acceptance.
For questions about these Terms, contact us via the platform's support channels (soon, a dedicated email at tucurriculo.com). Controller: Social Team S.A.S., Bogotá D.C., Colombia.
